The Flatshare
by Beth O'Leary
About eight months ago, I was looking through the online library and this was a new release book and after looking up a little bit of information it seemed like a great option for me. A couple days ago, I finally got the email that it was my turn to read the book. I honestly forgot that I put a reserve in for it, so that was a pleasant surprise. Then I had to go to my reserves and cancel a bunch because I became impatient waiting about bought a bunch of the books, so the was a good surprise. That is until I started reading it and I really had a tough time getting into it. I finally started enjoying it a little at about the 30% mark, then it was a book where I really just was not drawn into it, I would give this book probably 2 1/2 stars out of 5, because they did a good job with the descriptions of the characters it just was not a favorite for me.
Tiffy has been in and out of the same relationship for a couple years, they live together and continue living together even during their breaks. One of the breaks he starts seeing someone new and quickly becomes engaged and Tiffy realizes she needs to move out, but she can't afford much and she is lucky to find Leon who has a cheap flat and works from 6 at night till 9 in the morning and Tiff works 9 to 6. So they never have to see each other and on the weekends Leon stays with his girlfriend so they really do not have to see each other ever. Tiffy moves in not actually meeting Leon only his girlfriend and they leave notes for each other and that is how they become friends is from the notes they leave. The notes get more personal until one day when Tiffy oversleeps and runs into Leon in person and since that encounter they can't stop thinking about each other. Can they continue to follow the agreements/ made at the beginning of the flatshare, or will they want to continue seeing each other in person
